Terms of Use

Cookie Launcher 0.1.0 is an early-access release. Features, interfaces, and data locations may change between releases, and unexpected behaviour is possible. Keep backups of worlds and instance data you care about.

You are responsible for how you configure and use the launcher, including the Minecraft versions, loaders, and third-party content you install. Third-party mods and modpacks are created by their own authors and can affect stability, performance, and game data.

Cookie Launcher does not include or distribute Minecraft. Authenticated online play requires a valid Microsoft account that owns Minecraft: Java Edition, and your use of the game remains subject to the agreements that govern it.

Local offline profiles exist for legitimate local testing. Cookie Launcher does not bypass Minecraft ownership, paid access, or server authentication, and you may not use it to attempt to do so.

The launcher connects to services operated by others, including Microsoft for sign-in, the official Minecraft file sources, loader projects such as Fabric and Quilt, and Modrinth for content discovery. Their availability, terms, and content are outside our control.

Cookie Launcher is an independent third-party launcher and is not affiliated with Microsoft, Mojang Studios, or Minecraft. Minecraft is a trademark of Microsoft Corporation.

You agree not to use Cookie Launcher to:

• circumvent authentication, ownership checks, or server security;
• distribute malware or content you do not have the right to distribute;
• interfere with the services the launcher depends on, including excessive requests;
• misrepresent Cookie Launcher as an official Microsoft, Mojang, or Minecraft product.

Cookie Launcher is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the project and its contributors are not liable for lost data, lost worlds, or other damages arising from use of the launcher.

These terms may be updated as the project develops. Continued use of Cookie Launcher after an update means you accept the revised terms. Questions can go to support@cookielauncher.app.
